Registration, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy

At Andenet Meredaja Edir, our culture is built on mutual respect, community support, and accountability. Our staff and volunteers dedicate their time and effort to prepare for your appointment. When a member misses an appointment or arrives late, it impacts our operations and takes away an opportunity from another community member.

By registering, you agree to abide by the following attendance and scheduling policies:

1. Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected conflicts arise. To accommodate changes, we offer the following grace period:

​

• First Cancellation: Prospective members may cancel one (1) appointment without penalty, provided notice is given at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled start time.

​​

• Subsequent Cancellations: Any second (2nd) or subsequent cancellation—regardless of the notice window—will incur a $25 cancellation fee. This fee will be automatically added to your final registration balance. 

 

2. No-Show Policy

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notification constitutes a "No-Show." Because no-shows severely disrupt our scheduling and disrespect our team's preparation, the following strict penalties apply:

• First No-Show: If you fail to show up for your appointment, your base registration fee will immediately increase from $575 to $600.

• Second No-Show: A second missed appointment will result in immediate disciplinary action, which may include being permanently barred from registering for the 2026 Open Enrollment period.

 

3. Punctuality

Arriving on time is a reflection of respect for yourself and our organization. Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment or a forced cancellation (counted as a no-show) if the staff or volunteer can no longer accommodate the remaining session time.
