Who Can Join?

Membership in Andenet Meredaja Edir (AME) is inclusive and primarily available to individuals of Ethiopian descent and those who are legally married to Ethiopians.

Eligibility Criteria:

​

• Age:  Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

​​

• Residence: Applicants must reside within a 200-mile radius of the City of Oakland, covering the Greater Bay Area.

​​

• Commitment to AME’s Mission: Prospective members must fully understand the purpose and objectives of AME and agree to comply with the organization’s governing rules and policies as outlined in the bylaws.
